What is BIS Hallmarking & HUID?
The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) hallmark is the government's guarantee that the gold purity is exactly what the seller claims. Since June 2021, it's mandatory for all gold jewellery sold in India to carry a BIS hallmark.
